Described as being “…fiendishly precise…” (pitchfork.com), Canadian Drummer Nico Dann is sought-after internationally as a multi-faceted musician. As well as composing-for and leading his own ensembles, Nico has collaborated with many world-class musicians including
Juno-Award winners Allison Au, Andrew Downing, Christine Jensen and Roberto Occhipinti, vibraphone-luminary Michael Davidson, bass boss Dan Fortin (of Juno-Nominated Myriad Three), Thom Gill (Sam Amidon, KNOWER, Martha Wainwright), saxophonist Sylvester Onijiaka (Prince, Sly 5th Ave), jazz guitar guru Reg Schwager C. M., double-bass virtuoso Joel Quarrington C. M. and master violist Steven Dann (his father).

Dann’s past projects include touring with chart-topping indie luminary tUnE-yArDs (4AD), ex Montreal Indie-Rock Band Sister Suvi, and Toronto’s dream-pop group Bernice, led by Nico’s sister Robin Dann.
